Important things you need to know…

For the week of 10/25/2021

Hello families of Findley CLC!  

Here are your Friday Five important things to know for the upcoming week!

1.  Reminder masks are required daily.  Reminder to charge chromebooks nightly.

2.   No school for students on Tuesday November 2nd.

3.  No School Wednesday November 24th-Friday  November 26th.    

4. Spirit Week is this week: 

Monday, Oct 25, 2021 is College Day. Students can wear their favorite college clothing (jerseys, t-shirts, sweatshirts etc…)

Tuesday, Oct  26, 2021 is Quiet Day. There will be no talking outside of the classroom.  This is a day of reflection.  Students will reflect on making good decisions and being a good friend without using words.

Wednesday, Oct 27, 2021 is Sports Day.  Students can wear their favorite sports team clothing (jerseys, t-shirts, sweatshirts…) We will be teaming up against bullying.

Thursday, Oct 28, 2021 is Pink Day for Breast Cancer Awareness day.  Students will be able to wear pink shirts for support of the fight against breast cancer.  

Friday, Oct. 29, 2021 ”Color my World Bully Free” each grade level will be chosen to wear a different color. Each Grade will be wearing:

Kindergarten will wear Yellow

First grade will wear Green 

Second grade will wear Orange

Third grade will wear Red

Fourth grade will wear Purple

Fifth grade will wear Blue

5,  Findley’s Fall Celebration will take place on Friday, October 29th in the afternoon.  Unfortunately, due to COVID protocols, we are cancelling the parade and costume dress-up for this year.  Each classroom will have their own fall celebration which will include treats.  Candy may be brought to the school, but it needs to be store bought and individually wrapped according to COVID and allergy guidelines. More information about individual classroom parties will be forthcoming
